The Martingale Betting System for Winning Craps
Playing any casino game, including Craps, has a large element of luck. Together with that luck the law of probability can be employed.
Bet More When you Lose at Craps?
When playing Craps the law of probability can be employed, that at some point the dice will roll in your favor. This is the theory behind the Martingale Betting System which basically states that at some point the dice will roll in your favor and you will win at Craps gambling. If you adopt this theory then at every losing bet, you should increase your bet. For example if you bet $1 at the first bet and lose, you bet $2 at the next bet and so on. If you have arrived at $16 and you win, you have bet a total of $16+$8+$4+$2+$1 which is a total of $31. If you win your bet at $16, then you stand to win at odds of 2:1 so you win $32. Therefore you have won $1 above all of the money you have put in so far.
The Disadvantages of the Martingdale System
In simple terms the Martingale theory states that if you always double your bet when you have lost, then at some point according to the law of probability you can regain what you have bet when you win. There are disadvantages to this simple betting system especially when playing Craps; you will need a very large bankroll in order to keep going until you get a winning bet. Sometimes you may reach the casino limit before you have actually won anything. Craps gambling is a game of pure luck, there is no guarantee how the dice will fall and what the outcome can be.
Other Betting Options for Craps Gambling
When playing Craps many players choose to use the Martingale reverse system which basically is the opposite - when a bet is won, increase your bet so that you are making use of your winnings and therefore do not need such a large bankroll. Other experienced Craps players recommend using the Martingale betting system together with other theories, for example, every time the player makes a win on the Don't pass bet, he should increase his bet.
There are numerous adaptations of the different systems that can be used to help you win Craps but it must always be remembered that Craps is a game of luck. If you are lucky and the dice roll your way then you don't need any system.
